Hannah Day Journal
Yesterday was one of the longest and most amazing days of my life. It started with us departing for the airport to catch our flight to Guangzhou. Five hours after our scheduled departure time we finally took off. When we made it Guangzhou we were taken immediately to the Civil Affairs office where the babies had been waiting for us all day. As soon as we made it to the 5th floor they started handing out the babies. It was so hot, so loud, so emotional. Hannah cried her little eyes out for about 10 minutes than started sucking her thumb and taking everything in. We met with the director of the orphanage and she said that Hannah was the most active baby. Suits us just fine. It just blows me away that after all the roller coaster ride we have been through that
day has finally arrived. I can not imagine a more perfect baby for our family. God is good!! |
